Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion SPF 60 PA+++ Review

This was one of the sunscreens that came with the Sephora Sun Safety kit (previous reviews from the kit include Boscia, Philosophy, and Peter Thomas Roth moisturizers).  It came in a teeny little 0.23 oz bottle which has enough for at least a few applications.  It's got ridiculously high SPF and PA+++ (the Asian standard for SPF measurement; the more +'s the better the protection, where +++ is the highest), which can be risky for the face, since many with high SPF are thick and sticky.

Not so for the Shiseido!  This stuff is a very thin, milky liquid; I have to be sure to shake the bottle well before pouring any onto my fingers (the first time I attempted to wear this, I didn't shake, and funky liquid spilled all over my hands...less than ideal!), but it's very easy to spread, thanks to its thin texture, and it absorbs absurdly quickly.  It leaves a matte finish, which is great for putting on makeup after.  In short, it is everything a high SPF facial moisturizer should be.  The downside?  It's $39 in its full size (3.3 oz), which is well out of my price range.  You can buy two of the little bottles on eBay for $8, so if you're planning on being outside in the sun for protracted times for a few days, it might be worth the investment.

Overview
Pros: Spreadable, doesn't clog pores, high SPF, mattifying
Cons: Expensive
