What's It Worth?

Inspired by Brightest Bulb in the Box, I've taken to weighing my products before and after use in order to measure how much, exactly, is used every time I wear something. This page is very much a work in progress, and I'll be adding to it as I measure my products (I don't calculate the average until I've collected at least 5 data points, and since I'm cheap/lazy, I pretty much only weigh things when I'm actually wearing them). For each product listed, I include:
–The name (the type of product)
–Retail price and size in g, as stated by the brand
Amount per application
Price per application
Number of applications per container
–How long a container would last, assuming I wore it constantly for a 10 hour day (number of applications/day varies depending on the product, but is noted for each)

Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow (brow gel)
$20 for 6.52 g
0.012 g/application (0.010-0.013 range, though 0.013 g is definitely too much, and I have really thick brows, so most people would use even less)
543 applications
Lasts 1.5 years at $0.037/day

LORAC Behind the Scenes Eye Primer
$21 for 13.32 g
0.016 g/application (0.011-0.018 range)
833 applications
Lasts 2.3 years at $0.025/day

BECCA Beach Tint Duo in Watermelon and Fig (lip/cheek stain)

0.012 g/application (cheeks or lips)
331 applications/tube (662 total)
Each tube lasts 1 year at $0.024/day (when worn as blush)
–Based on this data, the full size Beach Tints at $25/6.80 g would cost $0.042/application and would last nearly 2 years with daily wear. The minis are a better value and also cheaper, but only include those 2 colors (and anyone much darker than NC15 would probably find Fig to be too light, which would knock down the value considerably).

MAC Matchmaster 1.0
$34 for 33.45 g
0.099 g/pump; 2-3 pumps = 0.250 g/full-face application (for me!), on average

Lasts 4.5 months at $0.254/day
