Another Meow blush! This one, Centerfold, was mentioned in my post on Hot Mama as a comparison, but here's the full review.
Like the other Meow blushes I've reviewed, Centerfold is finely milled, smooth, and pigmented, with a bit of shimmer. It's a pinky coral, and bright but sheer. I don't have to be as careful about applying this as I do the darker blushes (Risque and Bel Air), which is nice, but the arm swatches below show that it can still be very pigmented if you apply it heavily.
Top to bottom: theBalm Hot Mama, Centerfold, E.L.F. Candid Coral
Though the shimmer looks really intimidating, in the process of blending and buffing it on my cheeks, it all but disappears, leaving a very slight sheen. Compared to Hot Mama, Centerfold is slightly pinker with less gold shimmer, but when applied the differences are more visible, wherew Centerfold is a pinky coral rather than a peachy pink. The difference between it and Candid Coral are even more pronounced (not just because of the shimmer difference); Candid Coral looks almost muddy next to Centerfold. For cooler-toned gals, Centerfold is a great, fun coral summer blush, and it works just as well on warmer skin.
Same order as before; this color is really inaccurate, but I wanted to show the differences between the undertones of the 3 blushes
While Centerfold, Hot Mama, and Candid Coral are all superficially in the same color group, they have very different looks when worn. Candid Coral is the warmest and brownest, Centerfold is the pinkest, and Hot Mama is the shimmeriest (totally a real word).
