I'm super-busy with end of term "fun" (there is not enough sarcasm in the world to negate the need for those quotes), but I promised a quick recap of the giveaway comments, and it's short enough that I can call it a study break! (Okay, it actually ended up taking me, like, 40 minutes to write this up. Whoops.)
Suggestions for products I should try:
MAC Paint Pots (I'll try these out once my TFSI runs out! So, like, in a year.)
Powder deodorants (I didn't even know this was a thing?)
Lancome Erika F eyeshadow, the "holy grail easter bunny of taupe" (assuming I can get my hands on it, wily little Asia exclusive)
ProStrong Nail Care (if the whole biotin thing doesn't work out, I'll definitely have to hunt this down)
Shiseido products
Something with shea butter
Sephora Collection foundation
Favorite BJB post:
Brushes post
On Living with a Chronic Illness (I'm so glad someone liked this post! I always worry about putting super personal stuff on the blog, but I rationalize it with the "beyond just" in the title, ha!)
How I Try Not To Smell Bad (which is definitely no longer accurate)
Any of the posts with Bandit, the sugar glider/celebrity
Mother's Day post (x2)
Nail care posts
Drunken Ramblings (Another surprise, but I'm pleased to hear it! I imagine there will be more opportunities for drunken ramblings once summer arrives...)
Winter skincare posts
The Giveaway post
Guerlain Chamade
Le Métier Corinthian
Favorite cheap and easy dinner:
Lentil stew: Lentils, stewed tomatoes, carrots, celery, potatoes, herbs
Tacos!
Anything composed of beans, cheese, and rice
Caesar salad
20 Piece McNuggets (split with a friend), ranch dipping sauce for me. I'm classy like that (lolz!)
QUESA-FUCKING-DILLAS (such enthusiasm!)
Roast chicken & brown rice!
Legumes and cheese are clearly a popular theme. I would probably say grilled cheese with ham when I'm feeling super-de-dooper lazy, chips and deluxe bean dip (refried beans, cheddar cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, onions, garlic, lemon, salsa) and/or guacamole when I'm willing to spend some time prepping beforehand (or if I happen to have done it earlier and can just stick it in the microwave! That part's the best), and pasta with tomato sauce (simmered tomatoes [from a can], chopped garlic, onion, various herbs, salt, pepper) and parmesan (preferably just about as much cheese as sauce, mk?) when I feel okay waiting 30 minutes to eat. If you're willing to put in a little more prep time, chicken curry! Is delicious. Honestly, though, I live with my mother and grandmother, so I pretty much never have to make my own food. And yet! I still feel like I have no time. I don't know how I am going to be a real person next year...
